Movember has come and almost gone. With the last day here it has been a hugely successful month. MedHatMovember started a few months ago with a vision to bring together all of the Movember supporters in Medicine Hat, and create a group of fundraiser’s, supporter’s, and pledger’s that could help raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer Canada.

A month later, and almost $45,000 has been raised, not to mention the large amounts of publicity, press, and awareness this has created. Over 130 members joined Team MedHatMovember, and as a group we were able to reach 14th position nationally in donations collected – a great effort! Thanks to plenty of support from the business community, as well as generous donations, prizes will be awarded for some of the best moustaches and most funds raised.

All in all this has been a tremendous community event to raise awareness and funds for a great cause, and Partek was proud to be a part of it.
