The Medicine Hat Community Housing Society provides residential support to those citizens who are in need of affordable housing options and they lead and coordinate initiatives in the local community dedicated to ending homelessness in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Challenge:
The Medicine Hat Community Housing Society was in the midst of rebranding their corporate image through a local design firm, Flag five. Of course, a big part of a brand refresh includes updating their website to ensure their brand is cohesive and recognizable across all marketing efforts.
Approach:
In addition to modernizing the website’s aesthetic to match their new branding, we also redeveloped the website on a CMS platform, allowing for easier access to the back end so the staff at Medicine Hat Community Housing Society is able to make updates and add content to the website easily and efficiently.
Solution:
Their existing website had a lot of important and relevant content, however, the navigation to find content felt cumbersome and cluttered. Because of the amount of content required on the website, it was critical that Partek developed a plan and appropriate site map to streamline the content of the website to showcase their services while keeping things organized and user-friendly. In addition to structuring the content to be engaging and well organized, there was also a focus to make the content and application process more accessible. Partek added an online application form to the website to help keep the intake process simplified and organized.
In addition to restructuring the website navigation and pages, we also modernized their website esthetic with their new brand colors, logo, and high-quality photography.
