The Solution:
Partek developed a phased migration strategy designed to minimize disruption while modernizing the organization’s technology environment.
The project began with preparing a Microsoft 365 environment and establishing the foundation for cloud-based collaboration. This included Microsoft Entra ID integration, Microsoft Intune configuration, security enhancements, and modernized user access management.
Working closely with stakeholders, Partek then designed and deployed a SharePoint and OneDrive structure tailored to the organization’s operational needs. Existing file shares were carefully reviewed, permissions were mapped, and data was migrated to the new environment.
To ensure a smooth transition, endpoints were updated and reconfigured for modern authentication and cloud access. Print services and supporting infrastructure were also migrated, providing users with a consistent and familiar experience throughout the process.
Once the migration was complete, legacy servers and supporting services were decommissioned, reducing infrastructure complexity and ongoing maintenance requirements.
