The first documented attack occurred in November 2024. It began with a flood of spam messages, followed shortly by a Teams call from an account labeled “Help Desk Manager.”
During the call, the attackers requested remote screen control through Teams. This access enabled them to open a command shell, upload files to the system, and execute malware.
