Hosting is becoming a commodity, with many players in this field now, you can get hosting from as low as $3.95 / month for unlimited emails and bandwidth.  But as is the case with most things, what you pay for is what you get. More and more businesses are jumping online and using the internet to promote their business and services. Having a host that can be as reliable as your products and services is critical. Think of it this way; A potential customer comes to your website and your site is down, or reallllllyyyy slow, what impression does that give them of your services and company?  With some small businesses getting upwards of a thousand visitors a month, this is a huge factor.
