If your computer updates are not managed as part of a Patch Management solution, such as that which we offer with Partek 360, you may have seen the Windows 10 update notification pop up on your computer. In the past this was something you could deny if you didn’t want to update to Windows 10, however it appears now that Windows 10 is forcing itself onto computers, even if you say no. This article from PCWorld explains the issue in more detail.  Why is this a bad thing? In a business environment it’s important to maintain a controlled system for your computers. Compatibility issues and other support related problems can occur from updates that are not tested with all of the available hardware and software inside your environment.

If you have any questions about the Windows 10 updates, please contact us.
