Challenge:
Crossroad Energy Solutions, a national business with multiple locations across Canada and the US, approached us to redesign their main website following the successful development of a subsidiary business website. Impressed with our previous work, they sought a similar level of excellence for their primary site. As part of the website development proposal, Crossroad Energy Solutions outlined their specific requests:
- Consolidate website, SEO, Google Ads, and Google Listings management.
- Modernize the design and aesthetic of the website to align with their branding and convey professionalism and credibility.
- Restructure the layout and site map to optimize user experience.
- Improve website SEO and copywriting.
- find a solution to highlight each operation location across Canada and the USA.
- Highlight available employment opportunities for both Canadian and US locations, and make it easy for potential applicants to apply online.
The main challenge was to create a cohesive, modern website that integrated various functionalities and improved the client’s online presence. The objectives included enhancing SEO, streamlining site management, and creating a user-friendly experience with interactive elements and improved navigation. Additionally, the site needed to support recruitment efforts by listing job openings and allowing direct applications.
Approach:
To tackle these challenges, we developed a multi-faceted approach. We identified key areas for improvement and developed a strategy to optimize keywords, meta tags, and on-page content. We also crafted compelling, informative copy to better engage visitors and improve search engine rankings organically. We restructured the website’s layout and site map to improve navigation and usability making it easier for visitors to find information.
Our design team created a modern, visually appealing layout that reflects Crossroad Energy’s brand identity. We used contemporary design elements, high-quality images, and a clean, intuitive interface to enhance user experience and appeal. To highlight their service radius, we developed an interactive map that marks each of the their locations. This feature provides a convenient and engaging way for visitors to find and connect with the nearest office. We also integrated a job listings section that includes links to Indeed for both Canadian and US positions. Additionally, we implemented a resume upload form that allowed candidates to apply directly through the website. This streamlines their recruitment process and makes it easier for job seekers to find and apply for open positions.
Finally, we streamlined Crossroad’s digital marketing efforts by consolidating their website management, website hosting, SEO, Google Ads, and Google Business Listings. This integrated approach ensured consistency across all online platforms, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
